To one space you can add:
- up to 200 users;
- up to 50 rooms;
- up to 25 security groups.
App for administration and monitoring alarms of Ajax security systems
To one space you can add:
No, you need an Ajax hub to connect a system to monitoring software.
Other features do not depend on the adding of a hub to the space, including the Control and Rooms tabs and quick access to automation devices.
You can add an unlimited amount of Yale smart locks to one space.
To one space you can add:
Each camera or NVR can be added to only one space.
Third-party cameras require an Ajax hub for connection and can transmit only an RTSP stream without access to the archive.
Only one hub can be added to one space.
No, you only need to update your app:
Features will remain the same, including the Control and Rooms tabs and quick access to automation devices.
Space is a virtual entity where various autonomous devices located on the same physical object are gathered. To create a space, a user does not need an Ajax hub. Devices are added to a system according to the needs of the facility.
You can add a hub with detectors, only NVR with cameras, only Ajax cameras, smart locks, or combine all these devices into one system.
The space concept offers flexibility for customizing the system according to the specific needs of the facility.
To enable sending events to the CMS with a malfunction code instead of an alarm when the system integrity check is active:
When the option is enabled, arming with malfunction provokes sending events to the CMS with a malfunction code (E380) instead of an alarm (E130).
The option is available when the hub is connected to the CMS directly and via Ajax Cloud.
To generate a report:
To automatically download selected reports after creation, enable the option Automatically download generated report.
No such option is provided for. Deleting security system events is prohibited under the requirements of EN 50131.
The PRO account can have temporary or permanent access to the settings. The field in the screenshot shows the time for which the PRO account was granted access to the hub settings. The PRO account has permanent access to the hub if the field is hidden.
By clicking on the field, you can request temporary or permanent access from the hub admin, another PRO with rights to configure the system, or from the senior engineer (if you are logged in to a company account).
After gaining access, the PRO account can start setting up the object.
You can add an object to PRO Desktop:
Detailed instructions for adding hubs are available at the link.
The PRO account that created the company receives the company owner role. One PRO account can create an unlimited number of companies.
To create a company:
In the registration form, enter a valid email address. The company owner will receive a validation code via email to complete the company creation process. Enter this code at the last step of registration.
You can download PRO Desktop on our official website. The app is completely free.
Our support team works 24/7/365. As soon as the request is received and processed, the technical support team will respond to the email from the form.
All features are available at PRO Desktop 3.0 and higher.
If you already have the 911 account, use it to log in to PRO Desktop.
PRO Desktop automatically checks the server for updates. As soon as an update is available, the app will prompt you to update to the current version.
Click Restart and the app will install the update automatically.
When the update is complete, the app opens again.
To remove an object completely:
The object is then moved to the Unsubscribe request menu and automatically deleted after 7 days. To delete objects without waiting 7 days, select an object in the Bin and click the Delete Now button at the bottom of the screen.
To transfer data from Translator to PRO Desktop, contact your Ajax manager or technical support team.
After transferring objects, go to the Hubs menu in PRO Desktop (Menu → Company → Hubs) and create Objects for all the systems you need.
Not yet created objects have the No Object status in the PRO Desktop Status field.
After confirming and transferring objects, check that objects have been created in PRO Desktop for all hubs.
Please note that hubs are not removed from Translator after transferring. This way you can simultaneously use Translator and PRO Desktop to monitor alarms and events.
PRO Desktop supports an unlimited number of objects.
PRO Desktop has a detailed log of alarms and security system events, as well as employee actions within the program.
The entries in Journal are stored for up to two years. Older entries are removed.
The Sleep Mode tab contains the objects with alarms and events ignored by the PRO Desktop app. Events from such objects are not displayed in the Incidents tab but are recorded in the Journal.
An operator or another employee who has access to the monitoring module can switch the object to Sleep Mode if engineering work is carried out at the object or false alarms are received from it.
The monitoring station operator can view the photos taken by the MotionCam series detectors in the alarm processing window and in the Journal.
Visual verification helps the user of the system and the monitoring station operator to access the cause of the alarm. This minimizes false calls and unnecessary communication with the client.
You need an Ajax PRO account to log in PRO Desktop. It differs from the account created in the Ajax Security System app.
If you have a PRO account, use your password and email to log in.
If you have not used a PRO app yet, create a PRO account.
Two-factor authentication is supported by the following apps:
To delete a group:
At the moment, it is impossible to delete all groups from the hub. To completely remove all groups, the hub must be returned to the factory settings!
To disable the group mode, go to groups settings (Hub → Settings → Groups) and deactivate the group mode.
The ID of the group is a number of the group, which is necessary for arm separate groups from the keyboard.
The group number (ID) is displayed in the group settings (Hub → Settings → Groups).
In hubs with the firmware version OS Malevich 2.6 and latest hub administrator can limit the user’s access to the following functionality:
All these settings you can find in the user’s settings (Hub → → Users → User settings ).
The rights to the group, viewing notifications, devices and rooms can only be removed from the user account!
The second IP address is a backup in case of direct connection to the Central Monitoring Station (CMS).
If the main IP address is not available, the hub uses the second IP address to send events.
The direct connection (Monitoring Station tab) is the channel used to transmit hub events directly to the Central Monitoring Station (CMS) of the security provider, bypassing our server.
When direct connection is used, all events are communicated directly to the security company’s central monitoring station without affecting the functioning of the Ajax apps. If the direct connection is lost for any reason, the server acts as a redundant communication channel.
At the moment, management is implemented on the following platforms:
Select Hub in the APP, and go to settings . Under the Users tab, select the user who wants SMS alerts. Go to that user’s settings and activate SMS.
Please note that SMS may attract additional costs depending on the terms of the tariff plan.
An invitation to control the system is sent to the specified email address. If the email user has an Ajax account, the space will automatically appear in the user’s app. The Users menu displays such a person in the Active users section.
If the user does not have an account, they must install the Ajax app for iOS or Android and use the email address provided when registering. In the Users menu, such a person will appear in the Pending invites section.

Ajax PRO Desktop and Ajax PRO Applications: Tool For Engineers use PRO user accounts, which are different to the user accounts created in the Ajax Security System application.
If you did not sign up to the PRO Application, create a user account and then log in. You may use the same email and phone number as in the usual Ajax user account.
The access to the Ajax web application was closed on October 30, 2018.
In January 2018, a warning was added to the web application:
We’re announcing that we will be shutting down Ajax web app soon. We had ambitious ideas to make the multifunctional platform for the web browsers. But along the way, we have created mobile apps, which became the most popular way to control Ajax security systems for our users. And since it is a lot faster to launch new features through mobile apps, we decided to focus all our energies and resources on it.
Soon we will present a new Ajax Desktop app for PROs. With its help security firms and engineers will be able to monitor hubs and provide service remotely. All other users can still control their Ajax security systems through mobile apps for iOS and Android.
We have developed the Ajax PRO Desktop application for PC. It is secured, protected, TLS-encrypted, and it has all the features of the Ajax PRO: Tool for Engineers mobile application.
