You can install a microSD card (Class 10) with a memory capacity from 8 GB to 256 GB in Ajax cameras. The memory card is not included in the complete set of the camera. Additionally, the device can operate without a memory card and via NVR.

You can install a storage device with a memory capacity of up to 16 TB (SATA connectivity, 3.5” size) in NVR. The hard drive is not included in the NVR set.

To one space you can add:

• up to 200 standalone cameras, including third-party and Ajax cameras;
• or up to 14 Ajax NVRs with a total of 224 channels. Both 8- and 16-channel NVR versions can be used.

Each camera or NVR can be added to only one space.

Third-party cameras require an Ajax hub for connection and can transmit only an RTSP stream without access to the archive.

Features will remain the same, including the Control and Rooms tabs and quick access to automation devices.

Space is a virtual entity where various autonomous devices located on the same physical object are gathered. To create a space, a user does not need an Ajax hub. Devices are added to a system according to the needs of the facility.

You can add a hub with detectors, only NVR with cameras, only Ajax cameras, smart locks, or combine all these devices into one system.

The space concept offers flexibility for customizing the system according to the specific needs of the facility.

You can connect any IP camera using RTSP to the Ajax security system. In total, you can connect up to 10 cameras to Hub, up to 25 cameras to Hub 2, Hub Hybrid up to 50 cameras to Hub Plus, and up to 100 cameras to Hub 2 Plus.

Dahua cameras and video recorders can be added by scanning their QR codes (similarly to Ajax devices). And EZVIZ, Hikvision and Safire video surveillance systems can be added to the hub with a few clicks. So you don’t have to waste time on setting up network equipment.

Video recorders allow you to bypass the limit on the number of video surveillance devices that can be connected to the hub. The video recorder is a single device to which you can connect multiple video cameras. The video stream from each camera will be available in the Ajax app.
