How to migrate objects from Ajax Translator to Ajax Translator PRO or Ajax Cloud Signaling

For Ajax Translator to operate correctly, update Transport Layer Security (TLS) to version 1.2 or later. It is required to continue receiving photos from motion detectors with photo verification. TLS version 1.2 or later is a prerequisite for a secure connection between Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 (where the photos are stored) and third-party monitoring software.

How to ensure that Ajax Translator operates properly:

  • If you develop your third-party monitoring software, ensure your HTTPS libraries support TLS version 1.2 or later to download photos from AWS S3 over HTTPS.
  • If you use third-party monitoring software, verify whether your software supports TLS version 1.2 or later by checking the documentation or contacting the vendor.
