An NVR model name includes special characters such as numbers and/or letters. Each character has a specific meaning:
- H — HDMI output.
- 2D — 2 HDDs.
- AI — AI-powered features.
- xP — number of PoE outputs.
- 2G — 2 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
- AC — alternating current (220/110 V).
The model name also includes the number of channels.
For example, Superior NVR H2DAI16PAC (32-ch) features an HDMI output, 2 HDDs, 16 PoE outputs, supports alternating current, 32 channels, and is AI-powered.
