How to create and apply settings templates in an Ajax system

An Ajax system allows users to create templates to quickly apply several settings at once.

How to create a telephony settings template

    1. To create a settings template, open the PRO Desktop app.
    2. Go to the Company tab.
    3. Go to the Settings templates menu.
    4. Click the button to add a template.
    5. Select the Telephony settings option.
    6. Enter the template name and description.
    7. Go to the Company connection details menu.
    8. Fill in the telephony settings:
      • Company name — displayed in events accompanying each communication with the company via the voice module.
      • Company number.
      • Address — IP or domain name.
      • Port.
      • STUN server — IP or domain name.
      • STUN port.
      • Connection type — specify which protocol to use for communication purposes: SIP or ESI.

To save the settings, click Save.

How to apply a telephony settings template

The installer of the company that created the template can apply it using the Ajax PRO and PRO Desktop apps.

To apply the template:

  1. Open the Ajax PRO or PRO Desktop app.
  2. Select the space if you have more than one.
  3. Go to the Devices tab.
  4. Select a hub from the list.
  5. Go to the Settings menu by clicking on the gear icon.
  6. Select the Telephony settings option.
  7. Go to the Choose template menu.

    The Choose template menu is available if there is at least one template configured in the system.

  8. Select a template from the list.
  9. If necessary, review the template settings in the Company connection details menu.
  10. Apply the settings by clicking the Apply template button.

After applying the template, a corresponding notification will appear on the screen.
