In an Ajax system controlled by the hub running OS Malevich 2.33 or later, it is possible to deactivate reporting to monitoring software for specific devices.
This feature allows monitoring companies to exclude certain devices from monitoring if they are not covered by the monitoring agreement or if no response to events from these devices is required. For example, this is useful when a monitoring company wants to filter out events from automation or fire protection devices and respond only to intrusion device triggers.
The device with reporting deactivated does not send events to monitoring software and does not create an incident in the Ajax PRO Desktop app.
PRO users with access to system settings can enable or disable reporting to monitoring software in the device settings in the Ajax PRO Desktop and Ajax PRO: Tool for Engineers apps only. The reporting function is configured for each device separately.
Reporting to monitoring software is enabled by default for all devices added to the hub.
Devices supporting the feature
Almost all wired and wireless devices, including third-party devices connected to the system via integration modules, support deactivating reporting to monitoring software.

Deactivating reporting
To disable reporting to monitoring software for the device, in an Ajax PRO app:
- Select the required space or object.
- Go to the Devices
tab. - Select the required device and go to its settings
. - Go to the Monitoring menu.
- Uncheck the Send events to CMS option.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Once reporting to monitoring software is deactivated for the device, the device will be indicated with the corresponding icon and state in Ajax apps. The icon and state will be visible in all Ajax apps for users and PROs.
The system will also send a notification that reporting has been disabled for the device.
Restoring reporting
To restore reporting to monitoring software for the device, in an Ajax PRO app:
- Select the required space or object.
- Go to the Devices tab.
- Select the required device and go to its settings .
- Go to the Monitoring menu.
- Check the Send events to CMS option.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Once reporting to monitoring software is restored for the device, the system will send a notification about the restoration.
