The bundled capacitor is a device intended to provide sufficient power supply for LightSwitch and stable operation of lamps in the following cases:
- the power of the lamp is below the minimum requirement (refer to the table);
- the turned-off lamp is flashing;
- LightSwitch is malfunctioning or unstable.
LightSwitch model | Minimum required power of the lamp |
LightSwitch (1-gang) Jeweller LightSwitch (2-gang) Jeweller LightSwitch (2-way) Jeweller |
5 W |
Note: even if the power of the lamp exceeds the minimum requirement, but LightSwitch or lamp still operates unstably, the bundled capacitor should be connected.
The bundled capacitor should be connected in parallel with the lighting device according to the following diagram: in a lamp socket or terminal board nearby.
For two-gang models of LightSwitch, the bundled capacitor should be connected in parallel with the lighting device as follows:
- on either channel (Channel 1 or Channel 2) for LightSwitch (2-gang) Jeweller.
